TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23229!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Ability to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. Credentials and experience of more than 1 year according to scope of practice. Description: The unit has 2 endoscopy suites. Patient ratios are 1:1 for circulators and up to 2 patients for PACU. During preoperative questioning, the ratio is 1:1 but may be up to 1:3 if waiting. Staffing includes 1 circulator and 1 tech in the room, with a designated scope washer for the shift. Equipment used consists of Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, and ION robot. Documentation is done using Meditech Expanse and Provation. Scheduling requirements vary from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, based on assignment. There is a float policy to ASC and other surrounding facilities as needed. Advanced skills required include capability to perform ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS. Procedures performed on the unit include colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, bronchoscopy, etc. Dress code consists of hospital-issued scrubs. A huddle is conducted prior to the start of the day. Any additional attractive features for prospective candidates include new equipment or technology, the extensive tenure and experience of staff, and schedule options.
