American Eagle Ready Mix is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused HR & Recruiting Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.

This position will support both Human Resources and Recruiting, helping us attract top talent while providing day-to-day HR support for our growing workforce. As our company continues to expand, this role offers excellent long-term career growth and the opportunity to develop into a specialized Human Resources or Recruiting position based on your strengths and interests.

What You'll Do

Recruiting

• Assist with recruiting for drivers, plant personnel, mechanics, field employees, and office staff.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate the hiring process.
• Assist with career fairs, hiring events, and recruiting initiatives.
• Assist in Maintaining applicant tracking and candidate communication.

Human Resources

• Prepare offer letters and onboarding documents.
• Process new hires, transfers, promotions, and employee changes in Paycom.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
• Assist with orientation and new hire onboarding.
• Support employee relations and HR initiatives.
• Assist with benefits administration and employment verifications.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Administrative Support, or Customer Service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Paycom or another HRIS is preferred but not required.
• Experience in construction, transportation, trucking, manufacturing, or ready-mix is a plus.
