Job Description
Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care

Schedule: Full time day/evening shifts scheduled as needed by client (7.5 hours x 5 days/week) + every other weekend/holiday required

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Requirements:
- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
- BLS (must be through AHA or RQI)
- Minimum 1-year experience as licensed CNA in a long-term care setting

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living needs including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting per care plan.
- Maintain resident safety and respond to call lights while preventing falls.
- Support residents with meals by delivering trays and assisting with feeding.
- Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, including transfers and proper positioning.
- Take and record vital signs and monitor resident health.
- Provide companionship to residents to support their social and emotional needs.
