Job Summary The Visitor Services Representative is responsible for welcoming and assisting patients and visitors who come to the Emergency department and visitors entering the rest of the hospital after hours. What You’ll Bring To The Team Service oriented behaviors required Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal communication and active listening skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emotional situations. Ability to de-escalate conflict and exercise sound judgment. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and maintain attention to detail. Ability to follow hospital policies, visitor management procedures, and infection prevention protocols. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements Licensure And Certification Management of Assaultive Behavior certification within one (1) year of hire Education High school graduate of GED equivalent Experience Management of Assaultive Behavior certification within one (1) year of hire Service recovery skills preferred Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital
