A company in Waukegan, IL has a great opportunity for a Buyer with experience manufacturing. If you thrive on problem‑solving, building strong supplier relationships, and collaborating across teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting, this role is for you. Responsibilities Purchasing parts and raw materials Perform cost analysis and support cost‑saving initiatives Negotiate pricing, lead times, and service agreements with suppliers Maintain purchase orders, including schedule changes and rescheduling Analyze supplier quotations Partner with the Master Scheduler Track and support departmental KPIs Provide project updates, reporting, and support Maintain good supplier relationships Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 3 years of purchasing or buyer experience in a manufacturing environment Microsoft Office Excel and excellent computer skills Experience with MRP/ERP Systems is highly preferred Experience with purchasing overseas is a huge bonus!! #J-18808-Ljbffr
