Role Description This part-time, on-site Pharmacist role is based at Blakeslee Pharmacy in Blakeslee, PA. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, verify orders, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and professional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling patients on medication use and potential side effects, advising on over-the-counter products, administering vaccinations, and collaborating with prescribers to clarify and optimize therapy. The Pharmacist will review patient profiles for drug interactions, maintain accurate records, oversee inventory management of pharmaceuticals items, and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations. The role also involves contributing to quality assurance, maintaining a clean and secure work environment, and delivering courteous, efficient customer service. Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania and eligibility to practice in good standing. Active certification in administration of vaccinations. Strong clinical knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and counseling practices. Experience in community pharmacy; familiarity with personal care products is an advantage. Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, prescription processing, and insurance billing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, prescribers, and team members.
