Veterinary assistant

Burlingame Family Pet Hospital is growing, and we are seeking an adaptable Veterinary Assistant with client service experienceto join our Urgent Care team! Our modern general practice and urgent care center provides comprehensive veterinary services, from wellness care and diagnostics to surgery, dentistry, and orthopedics. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations by assisting the medical team on the treatment floor and providing coverage at the reception desk as needed. Your responsibilities will include supporting triage, helping prepare patients for procedures, setting up and breaking down equipment, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and assisting with basic recordkeeping. When supporting the front desk, you will greet clients, answer phones, help manage appointments, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience. As our urgent care services continue to expand, you will play an important support role in helping the team deliver efficient, compassionate care. Schedule: This is a part-time position scheduled for three 8-hour swing shifts, Thursday through Saturday from 3pm to 11:30pm.
