Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our Projects & Services Business Controller team in Katy, TX. In this role, you'll partner directly with operations and business leaders to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

We're looking for a highly motivated problem-solver with strong accounting knowledge, sound economic thinking, and a passion for creating value through collaboration and transformation. You'll have the opportunity to influence business outcomes, improve financial processes, and gain broad exposure to project-based operations within a growing organization.

Our Team

The Projects & Services Business Controller team champions financial stewardship and strategic insight, guided by Principle Based Management. We emphasize continuous learning, collaboration, and role optimization to align with KES's vision, ensuring accountability and rewarding contribution.

What You Will Do

• Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and well-supported account balances.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting that enables business leaders to make informed decisions.
• Partner with operations and business leaders to understand performance drivers, anticipate business needs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strengthen the internal control environment by promoting sound financial stewardship and compliance.
• Support internal and external audit activities, including site-level reviews and compliance assessments.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in an accounting or finance-focused role requiring knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Experience in Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis, and formula creation).
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• ERP experience.
• Construction industry experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Experience leveraging generative AI to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
