We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in a K-12 setting. This role involves working closely with students who require additional academic and behavioral support, both in a one-on-one setting and within a structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a student with significant academic and/or behavioral needs
- Assist in Special Education classroom to help maintain a supportive learning environment
- Support instructional activities under the direction of the lead teacher
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and growth
- Assist with classroom management and daily routines
Qualifications:
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in special education
- Ability to provide consistent, patient, and attentive support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with all students with varying needs
Position Details:
- Full-time, CSY, ESY, NSY
- K-12 Caseloads
- Collaborative and supportive team environment
- Experience in ABA is a big plus
