Facilities Technician

Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $30hr - $35hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and facilities support activities with limited supervision.
• Execute moderately complex assignments requiring independent judgment.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve routine facility issues following established procedures.
• Support operational targets and contribute to overall team performance.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to provide and obtain technical information.
• Serve as a resource to other team members in areas of expertise.
• Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities and work orders.
• Work safely in various environments including elevated areas, confined spaces, and varying temperature conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of facility maintenance operations and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman or Master Electrician certification.
• Specialized training in HVAC, plumbing, or related trades.
• Experience working in manufacturing or office environments.
• Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Skills And Competencies:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts.

Work Environment:

• Industrial and/or office setting with exposure to varying temperatures and humidity.
• May require working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Contract role with moderate scope and responsibility.
