The Company is in search of a Vice President for Commercial Legal Affairs and Transactions. Candidates for the VP position must be seasoned legal executives with at least ten years' of experience, particularly in healthcare transactions. The role requires a sophisticated communicator who can simplify complex legal concepts, build trust across the enterprise, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence. The VP will be expected to be a strong mentor and leader, ensuring that legal operations are efficient and aligned with the company's priorities. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and membership in the New Mexico State Bar, or the ability to join within the first year, are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in legal risk management, and be adept at modernizing legal functions to meet the evolving needs of the business.
