We are currently recruiting for a Social Services Director to join our team! Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the social service programs of the facility. Attend meetings with administration, medical, and nursing staff as directed. Assisting and reviewing the development, administering, and coordinating of department policies and procedures. Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of the resident and families. Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of social care plans and resident assessments. Refer resident/family to appropriate social service agencies when the facility does not provide the services or needs of the resident. Maintain a quality working relationship with the medical profession and other health-related facilities and organizations. Qualifications and Skills We are seeking team members who have the following qualifications and skills: Professional enthusiastic attitude Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or equivalent certification preferred. Experience in long-term care or geriatric social services is highly desirable.
