Volt is immediately hiring for All Shifts Machine Operators in Carlsbad, Ca.

Summary: Operate and maintain printers, perform basic maintenance, prepare machines for production, and media blast printed parts according to job specifications. Ensure parts are properly cleaned, powder-free, and meet quality standards.

As a Machine Operator you will:

Operate, maintain, and prepare 3D MJF printers, processing stations, and build units for production.

Work closely with Project Technicians, Machine Technicians, Leads, and the Finishing Department.

Ensure printers meet uptime and productivity (OEE) requirements.

Perform media blasting and post-processing tasks according to job sheets and drawings.

Inspect parts for quality, verify features, and identify defects.

Report equipment issues and notify leads of any questionable parts.

Maintain equipment, media levels, and a clean work area.

Follow all safety procedures and promote a positive team environment.

Assist with various production activities and other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Manufacture experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 year or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute work with detailed job instructions.
• Solid technical attributes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great organizational skills.
• Beginning Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to accomplish tasks without constant supervision.
• Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to pass a drug test and a background check.

Shift/Schedule:

Mon-Fri 6 am 2:30 pm 1st Machine Operator

Mon-Fri 8 am 4:30 pm 1st Part Finisher/Sorter

Mon-Thur 4 pm 2:30 am 2nd Swing Media Operator

Fri Sun 4 pm 4:30 am 2nd Machine Operator

Mon Thur 8 pm 6:30 am 3rd Machine Operator

Fri Sun 4 pm 4:30 am 3rd Part Finisher/Sorter

Pay Range: $21.00-22.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
