Role Overview The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all life stages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services. Key Responsibilities Provide patient-centered nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing processes. Adhere to organizational policies, standards of practice, and maintain professional development. Coordinate care activities of the nursing team to ensure quality delivery. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred. No experience required; new graduates eligible. Prior hospital experience and PRN hospital experience preferred. Current Georgia RN license or multistate license; BCLS certification required.
