This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative outpatient setting, supporting physicians and clinical teams through high-quality diagnostic imaging services.The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic ImagingPerform a variety of radiologic procedures, including routine and specialized imagingOperate radiographic equipment such as standard X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging unitsAssist physicians with advanced imaging procedures, including those involving contrast mediaEnsure proper patient positioning and technique to achieve accurate diagnostic resultsPatient CareExplain imaging procedures clearly to patients to ensure understanding and comfortApply radiation safety standards, including ALARA principlesAdjust imaging techniques based on patient needs, anatomy, and physician ordersQuality Assurance and ComplianceReview images for accuracy, quality, and proper identification prior to submissionFollow all regulatory, safety, and HIPAA compliance standardsPerform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns as neededDocumentation and WorkflowAccurately document procedures, imaging results, and patient interactionsMaintain logs, reports, and required documentation in accordance with regulationsSupport departmental workflow and assist with additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsAssociate degree in Radiologic Technology or related fieldActive California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licenseCurrent ARRT (R) certificationCurrent BLS certificationMinimum of two years of diagnostic radiology experienceExperience working with EMR systemsFamiliarity with PACS and RIS systemsStrong communication and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with EPIC EMRBackground in outpatient or ambulatory care settingsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
