Weekend LPN Nurse Sundays Only
Southern Health Partners is currently seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at the Rabun County Jail in Georgia. This role offers a consistent Sunday schedule in a structured healthcare environment where your clinical judgment, professionalism, and compassion help deliver quality care to an underserved population.
Correctional nursing provides a unique opportunity to practice a wide range of skills while working in a setting that is organized, secure, and team focused.
Position Details
Location: Rabun County Jail Georgia Schedule: Every Sunday Hours: 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting sick call triage
- Performing health assessments, histories, and physicals (H&Ps)
- Administering and documenting medication pass
- Monitoring patient conditions and communicating changes to the medical team
- Maintaining accurate medical documentation and compliance with facility protocols
- Collaborating with nursing and medical staff to ensure continuity of care
