About the Role:

This role is responsible for delivering overnight diagnostic imaging services in a hospital environment, supporting both emergency and inpatient care needs. The Radiologic Technologist will perform CT and X-ray procedures while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and patient comfort during late-night hours.

You will work in a collaborative clinical setting alongside physicians and care teams, while also demonstrating the ability to operate independently when handling urgent imaging requests. This position is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working night shifts and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT and radiographic imaging procedures in alignment with clinical protocols and provider orders.
• Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and positioning to achieve high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prioritize imaging requests based on urgency, particularly in emergency and overnight care situations.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses and timely care.
• Maintain imaging equipment by performing routine checks and ensuring operational readiness.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and best practices to protect patients and staff.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within hospital systems.
• Provide compassionate patient care, particularly during overnight hours when patients may require additional support.
• Adapt to workflow demands and manage responsibilities efficiently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Required:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred:

• Experience performing both CT and X-ray imaging.
• Additional credentials in medical imaging or radiation sciences.

• Strong understanding of imaging techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure or urgent care scenarios.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
