Love Dogs, Cats, and the Idea of Building a Career in Veterinary Medicine?

You might be exactly who we’re looking for!

Our North Hollywood veterinary hospital is looking for a compassionate, self-motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Whether you already have experience in veterinary medicine or are looking for an opportunity to get started, we’re interested in meeting someone who genuinely loves animals and is ready to contribute to a veterinary team.

Previous experience will be considered, but it isn’t necessary for this position. What matters most is bringing compassion, motivation, and a love for dogs and cats to work each day.

Why Our Veterinary Assistants Love It Here

• A great opportunity to build experience in veterinary medicine
• Previous veterinary experience is welcome but not required
• Flexible scheduling in a hospital that is open seven days a week
• The opportunity to work with both dogs and cats
• A team environment where you can contribute to patient care
• Professional development opportunities to support your growth
• Continuing education support as you develop your veterinary career
• A role where compassion and a genuine love for animals matter

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside the veterinary team to help support the care of our canine and feline patients. Your role will focus on contributing wherever needed while helping create a compassionate experience for pets and their owners.

Because the original position description does not specify individual clinical duties, we’re keeping the responsibilities broad rather than adding technical requirements that may not apply. You’ll be expected to:

• Support the veterinary team with day-to-day patient care
• Help provide compassionate care for dogs and cats
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members
• Contribute to an organized and efficient hospital environment
• Approach patients with kindness, patience, and compassion
• Be ready to learn and develop your skills as part of the veterinary team
• Help support a positive experience for patients and clients

What You’ll Bring

You don’t need years of veterinary experience to be considered. We’re looking for someone who brings the right attitude and a genuine interest in animal care.

You’ll bring:

• A genuine love for dogs and cats
• A compassionate approach to animal care
• A self-motivated attitude
• A willingness to learn and grow
• The ability to work as part of a veterinary team
• Flexibility to work some evening and weekend hours
• Availability for an in-person interview
• Previous veterinary experience is welcome but not required

The Extras You’ll Actually Feel

This is an opportunity to join a veterinary team without needing previous experience to get your foot in the door. If you’re motivated, compassionate, and eager to learn, you’ll have the chance to gain experience while doing work centered around the animals you love.

With flexible scheduling and a hospital that’s open seven days a week, you’ll also have opportunities to work a schedule that includes a variety of shifts while continuing to build your veterinary skills.
