As a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA you will:
- Assist nursing staff with patients' personal care, emotional support, and activities of daily living.
- Monitor the health conditions of the residents and ensure quality services provided
- Advice supervising nurse of residents status at the beginning and end of shift
- Assist with resident activity programs, including off-site outings and off-site appointments
- Initiate emergency procedures on a needed basis
- Use equipment correctly and safely
- Report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents, or incidents to supervisor
- Maintain current progress notes and any other appropriate documentation
- Actively attend and participate in team meetings and training as required
- Maintain confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect in all you do
Qualifications
- Completion of a CNA certificate program; current CNA certification issued by California
- Current in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
- A commitment to quality in everything you do
