Senior React Developer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on, high-impact Senior React Engineer with deep expertise in modern front-end development using TypeScript, React, and the TanStack ecosystem. This is a heavily coding-focused position where you’ll spend the majority of your time architecting, building, and optimizing fast, responsive, and visually polished user interfaces.

The ideal candidate is a front-end expert who writes clean, maintainable code, embraces modern JavaScript and TypeScript best practices, and cares deeply about performance and pixel-perfect execution. Key Responsibilities

• Build high-quality, scalable React applications using TypeScript and modern front-end tools, including the TanStack ecosystem.

• Develop responsive, accessible UIs from Figma or similar mockups with pixel-perfect precision.
\n
• Collaborate with designers, backend/API engineers, and product owners to translate requirements into working features.
\n
• Create reusable, composable components with clear patterns for state management, styling, and data flow.
\n
• Integrate applications with REST or GraphQL APIs and efficiently manage complex asynchronous data flows.
\n
• Conduct thoughtful, constructive code reviews focused on quality and maintainability.
\n
• Optimize rendering performance and load times through best practices in caching, lazy loading, and efficient DOM operations.
\n
• Support UI consistency and scalability by contributing to component libraries or design systems.
\n
• Maintain strong Git workflows, collaborating effectively through pull requests.
\n
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives, contributing insights to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
\n
• 6+ years of hands-on experience building modern front-end applications.
\n
• Deep expertise in React (hooks, context, composition patterns, performance tuning).
\n
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
\n
• Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs.
\n
• Proven ability to convert Figma/design mockups into production-ready UI.
\n
• Solid understanding of Git workflows and code review best practices.
\n
• Track record of writing clean, testable, maintainable code.
\n
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TanStack Query (React Query) and related tools.
\n
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions.
\n
• Experience contributing to or maintaining a shared component library or design system.
\n
• Background working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
