Full-Stack Staff Engineer, AI Platform for Life Sciences

Member of Technical Staff (Full-Stack) – Series A, NYC I’m working with a Series A NYC-based AI company building an AI platform for life sciences that helps pharma and biotech teams generate compliant, reference-backed marketing content at scale. They’re already working with 50+ pharma brands and are scaling quickly at the intersection of enterprise software and applied AI. What you’ll work on Build backend services (FastAPI) for core product workflows Design and run background systems (Celery + Redis) for reliable processing Deploy LLM agents and RAG pipelines into production (LangGraph / LangChain-style) Own AWS infrastructure (deployment, scaling, cost, security) Build enterprise integrations (e.g., Veeva, Adobe, Figma) Develop document + data pipelines (PDFs, OCR, embeddings, metadata) What they’re looking for Strong backend or full-stack engineering experience Experience with distributed systems (queues, caching, background jobs) AWS or cloud infrastructure experience Exposure to LLMs / RAG / agentic systems (plus) Strong ownership and ability to ship end-to-end in a startup environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Alexander Chapman
