Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the physical well-being and independence of our senior living and long-term care residents. Working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team, you will design and implement customized treatment plans to address each individual's unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents' physical function, mobility, and rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall function
- Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and assistive devices
- Collaborate with nursing, social work, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state ofNew York
- 2+ years of experience working with senior or geriatric populations in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficient in the use of physical therapy equipment and technology

Working Conditions
This is a temporary, contract position. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, with occasional evening hours as needed. The physical therapist role involves a combination of office work, patient/resident interactions, and hands-on therapy sessions. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, assist with patient transfers, and demonstrate physical stamina.

Compensation and Benefits
$60 per hour on 1099 as an independent contractor
