Propulsion Structural Repair (Nacelle) Service and Design Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Propulsion Structural Repair (Nacelle) Service and Design Engineers (Experienced or Senior) to join the Customer Support (CS) Systems Service Engineering (SSE) located in Seal Beach, CA . Primary Responsibilities Create, lead, and review repair design concepts for metallic and composite damage/repairs, including preparation of 8100‑9 forms for AMOCs and major repairs. Assignments range from urgent repair requests (hours to days) to longer‑term projects (weeks to months). Develop creative and innovative design concepts, fleet solutions, and improvements to existing Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs) and support documentation to advance Boeing Nacelle Repair methodologies. Participate in current and future design/development initiatives to advocate for customer concerns, improve supportability, maintainability, and repairability of nacelle structures. Identify and support improvements to repair team workflow, work distribution, repair methods, and processes. Leverage Customer Support and broader Boeing networks to support customer needs. Conduct independent research and collaborate closely with internal groups and external partners/suppliers. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent directly related to the work statement. Five or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Willingness to work outside of standard 1st shift to support a 24/7/365 operation, including occasional Saturday and Sunday work. Preferred Qualifications Nine or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three or more years of experience in design or repair of propulsion/nacelle structures. Strong knowledge of Boeing processes and systems. Experience with CATIA V5. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance or repair. Experience collaborating with airlines, suppliers, MROs, OEMs, or other aerospace entities. General familiarity with certification processes. Pay is based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations. Experienced (Level 3) pay range: $119,850–$162,150. Senior (Level 4) pay range: $146,200–$197,800.
