Job Summary

The role includes operating specialized equipment and providing clinical care with technical and decision-making skills.

Job Details

• Position: Mammographer
• Certification/License Requirements: Radiologic Technician (RT) and Mammography Technologist certification are required in California; ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications are required in Oregon, with preferred status in California and Hawaii. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required. Fluoroscopy license and venipuncture certification are preferred in California.
• Education and Experience: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; preferred experience as a Mammography Technologist; minimum 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday through Thursday.
• Responsibilities include patient education, adherence to infection control and safety protocols, performing diagnostic or screening mammograms, assisting with intricate examinations including biopsies, producing high-quality films, and documenting procedures.
• Additional requirements: Completes patient preparation and information dissemination; escalates issues to senior staff when necessary.
• Organizational: All associates must receive required vaccinations and participate in E-Verify.
• Equipment/Tools: Hologic mammography machine, Dexa, epic EMR.
