Registered Nurse Clinician (RN)

Job TitleThe purpose of the Registered Nurse Clinician is to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions.Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.Service Areas: Pawleys Island, SC and travel to Myrtle Beach, SC as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy.BLS or obtain upon hire.Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.Essential Functions:Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients.Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner.Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers.Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations.Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses.Travel to outlying clinics as needed.Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services.Accurately perform all nursing duties according to the state nurse practice act while adhering to company policies and procedures including, but not limited to:accessing and maintaining central lines and PIVSobtaining lab specimenscollecting vital signsSafely administer intravenous and injectable medications as ordered by prescribing physiciansdocumenting patient careresponding to and accurately reporting adverse drug reactionsassisting with administrative duties as neededAbout the Benefits:Competitive CompensationComprehensive Medical InsuranceDental and Vision InsuranceCompany Life InsuranceVoluntary Life and Disability InsuranceAdditional Voluntary Supplemental PlansFlexible Spending Account (Medical and Dependent Care)Health Savings Account401K Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee DiscountsRamsey SmartDollar ProgramReferral ProgramTuition AssistancePaid Time Off8 Paid Company HolidaysPatient Advocacy Statement:At Palmetto Infusion, we believe that patient advocacy is at the heart of everything we do, regardless of our roles within the organization.
