About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging to lead its dynamic Department of Radiology. The successful candidate will be a nationally recognized leader in the field, with a strong background in clinical care, teaching, mentoring, and scholarship. This role is pivotal in defining and executing a vision for a world-class cardiothoracic imaging section, with a focus on clinical excellence, educational excellence, and supporting a robust scholarly portfolio. The Chief will be responsible for growing and nurturing an efficient, productive, and cutting-edge clinical service, as well as spearheading educational programs for students, residents, and fellows. Collaboration with executive leadership and other medical services is essential, and the Chief is expected to have a superb working relationship with various specialties, including pulmonology, cardiology, thoracic surgery, and primary care. Candidates for the Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging position at the company should be Diagnostic Radiology Board Certified, with fellowship training and/or extensive experience in cardiothoracic imaging. The role requires the ability to be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank, with a preference for candidates at the Associate or Full Professor rank. A strong commitment to a culture of respect, transparency, communication, and collaboration is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of academic excellence, the ability to mentor and sponsor others, and experience in mission-driven organizations. Participation in national societies and experience in teaching and speaking at a national or international level in the realm of cardiothoracic imaging are also preferred.
