Short-Term Residential Culinary Arts Staff

Join us for a short-term, full-time residential assignment of 1 to 3 weeks during our fall programming. You'll help bring cultures to life through food, connect with the spirit of the Villages, and make a meaningful contribution to our programs.

As a member of our Residential Culinary Support team, you'll help provide meals and dining experiences for participants and staff while supporting the unique needs of our residential language immersion programs.

Depending on your skills, experience, and the needs of the team, you might assist with cooking and food preparation, serving meals, washing dishes, cleaning, or other essential kitchen activities. Whether you're an experienced cook or simply someone who's ready to lend a hand, there's a place for you on our team!

This temporary position provides additional support during our fall programming. Assignments generally last 1 to 3 weeks, with on-site housing and meals provided throughout your stay.

We're looking for dependable, enthusiastic individuals who are willing to help support our Culinary Arts team during fall programming. Previous kitchen or foodservice experience is preferred but not required. What matters most is a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to contribute.

Required Education & Experience:

• Willingness to assist with a variety of kitchen and foodservice tasks, including cleaning, dishwashing, food preparation, and meal service.
• Ability to follow instructions and established food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on program needs, including possible early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to reside on-site for the duration of the assignment.

Pay: $16.50 per hour, with overtime compensation as applicable.

Earning Potential: Earn up to $1,000 per week based on a 54-hour workweek, including overtime. Actual earnings depend on hours worked.

Additional provisions: On-site housing and meals are provided at no cost during the assignment, for up to three weeks.

This is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible position. Assignments generally last 1 to 3 weeks, depending on program and staffing needs.
