Hotel Houseperson - Holiday Inn Express, Middletown, RI

At the Holiday Inn Express Middletown, RI we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to support our housekeeping team and help maintain the cleanliness and comfort our guests expect. If you enjoy staying active, being part of a supportive team, and working in a fast-paced environment — we’d love to meet you!

Pay Range: $17 per hour
Schedule: Night Shifts | Weekends \ Friday & Saturday

The Responsibilities of a Houseperson include:

• Keep public areas, hallways, and hotel corridors clean and well-presented
• Keep public areas outside the hotel, parking lot and entrances

• Perform basic cleaning tasks: vacuuming, trash removal, etc.

• Assist the housekeeping and laundry teams when needed

• Respond to guest requests with professionalism and courtesy

• Help with light maintenance tasks

• Drive the hotel shuttle van ( must have valid driver’s license )

Requirements

• This position requires a responsible individual with a valid driver's license
• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
• Flexible Availability
• Must be 25 years of age or older (requirement for shuttle)

• A dependable, team-oriented individual with a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to pitch in where needed
• Comfortable working independently and on your feet
