Department 02058 WFBMG University Group Practice: WFBMC Main - Cardiology: Vascular Laboratory Position Details Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5pm, no call, rotating weekends and holidays 8-5pm. Pay Range: $33.05 - $49.60 This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Position Highlights Sign on Bonus: Qualifies for a $15,000 sign on bonus (New Hire) or $10,000 sign on bonus (New Grad) if eligible. Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 in Relocation Assistance for qualified candidates. What You’ll Need Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or comparable experience with RVT or RVS credentials. New graduates must obtain RVT or RVS credential within one year of hire. BLS certification required. Competency in ABI, Arterial Doppler (no intervention), Carotid (no intervention), Aortic (no intervention), Saphenous vein mapping, Exercise ABI, DVT Upper/Lower extremity. What You’ll Do Verify physician’s orders and review patient records prior to exam. Perform basic vascular ultrasound testing according to accredited vascular laboratory protocols, ensuring patient comfort throughout the exam. Recognize and document abnormal pathologies according to imaging protocols as necessary to support diagnosis. Provide physician with a detailed preliminary report. Enter measurement data and final report into the cardiovascular reporting system. Ensure equipment is cleaned and functioning in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Enter charges into the electronic medical record. Physical Requirements Light to moderate physical effort; lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies. Requires sitting, standing, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. Intact sense of sight and hearing required. Compensation Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
