Salary: HSO APLP Grade 1 $110,666 - $119,660 or APLP Grade 2 $130,265 - $153,151 per annum pro rata Location: Perth Metropolitan Area Unit/Division: Child and Adolescent Health Service > Child Development Service Employment: Fixed Term Full Time (possible extension/permanency). Position Profile Bring your passion and commitment and make a difference to those that matter – the next generation. We seek friendly, passionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist Registrars (Grade 1) and Clinical Psychologists (Grade 2) to support infants, children and young people with developmental concerns. Position Types Clinicians providing individual assessments and treatment, participating in group-based interventions and part of a multidisciplinary team for joint assessments or interventions. Opportunities to develop skills in diagnostic assessments, especially autism spectrum disorder. Clinicians based in Autism Assessment Clinics, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic assessments for children with neurodiversity queries, particularly autism. Supportive training provided, especially in autism spectrum disorder. An appointee may progress to Clinical Psychologist Grade 2 upon successful completion of a Board approved supervised period of practice and gaining endorsement in Clinical Psychology. About the Child Development Service Provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention to infants, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties impacting function, participation, or the parent-child relationship. Clinicians adopt a child and family‑centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are priority. Teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals. Service operates at approximately 18 locations across metropolitan Perth, also providing home, school and community visits. Eligibility to Apply Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for permanent positions.
