Job Summary:

Provide acute care occupational therapy services to hospitalized patients, delivering individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to develop personalized therapy programs.
  
  
• 
  Implement treatment plans using evidence-based interventions to promote patient progress.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and adjust therapy approaches as needed.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in electronic health systems such as Epic.
  
  
• 
  Comply with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Float within scope to support multiple units and meet facility needs when necessary.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist License.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
  
  
• 
  Certification in BLS and NBCOT required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work 5x8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday availability.
  
  
• 
  Ability to adhere to RTO submission policies and hurricane season protocols.
