Tax Manager

Full time through the season, part time for the rest of the year, and the benefits don't change either way. That's on the table here if you want it, and the job is a real tax manager seat rather than a reduced one.
An East Bay firm of under 100 people with its own tax group, closely held business clients, $137k to $167k. The work is review and planning rather than preparation. There's a bit of business development in it as well, not cold calling, but you'd be expected to spot the work sitting inside the clients you already look after.

- Technical review of business, personal, partnership and trust returns
- Planning for closely held businesses, and the research that sits under it
- Working with partners and seniors on whatever a client brings in
- Spotting work inside the client list you look after
What you'll have:
- CPA
- 7 or more years in public accounting tax
- A Masters in Tax is a plus rather than a must
