Endoscopy Technician

Endoscopy Technician Wellness Avenue Surgery Center offers a modern, comfortable setting for outpatient GI procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy. Our clinical team focuses on safety, quality, and a supportive experience from preparation through recovery. The GI Technician/Endoscopy operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and GI technician collaborate in the procedure room to create ideal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties of the GI technician include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.
