Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial plumbing projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is the primary field operations leader, providing direction to Foremen and field teams while partnering with Project Managers and General Contractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Plumbing Foremen and field personnel
• Oversee field operations across multiple commercial plumbing projects
• Coordinate manpower, crews, materials, equipment, and work sequencing
• Review project schedules, forecast manpower needs, and identify potential delays
• Conduct regular jobsite visits, safety inspections, and quality inspections
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, plumbing codes, manufacturer requirements, and company standards
• Partner with Project Managers and General Contractors to resolve field issues and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate deliveries, material staging, and equipment needs
• Identify and correct quality issues before inspections and turnover
• Support incident investigations, toolbox talks, PPE compliance, and OSHA requirements
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, manpower, schedule, and field risks
• Coordinate change-order work with Project Managers
• Ensure accurate Procore documentation, daily reports, timecards, labor coding, safety reports, and production tracking
• Train apprentices and new employees and develop Foremen into future leaders

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of commercial plumbing experience
• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience overseeing multiple commercial plumbing projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, including:
• Domestic water
• Waste and vent systems
• Storm drainage
• Equipment installation
• Hydronic piping preferred
• Medical gas experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and isometric drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate manpower and manage competing project priorities
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30
• Procore experience
• CPR/First Aid
• Lift certifications
• Confined space training
• Rigging experience

Physical Requirements

• Regularly walk active construction jobsites
• Climb ladders and scaffolding
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, kneel, bend, and crawl as needed
• Work in various weather conditions
• Travel between multiple jobsites
