Job Title

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Telemetry unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
• Perform neurovascular checks on limbs, frequent ambulation, and repositioning
• Implement orthopedic precautions and deliver comprehensive pain control management
• Monitor and care for a wide variety of patients including trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, and stroke presentations
• Utilize GE wireless telemetry equipment and Welch Allyn vital sign machines within a Meditech EMR environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Trauma and/or orthopedic nursing experience
• Neuro and/or stroke nursing experience
