As a regional referral center for skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, they detect more than 600 cases of skin cancer each month. Deaconess Dermatology, a department of Deaconess Hospital, has expert providers that are committed to providing patients with the highest quality and most comprehensive dermatological care. This is available through their extensive experience in dermatologic surgery, laser treatments, cosmetic evaluations and surgery, skin pathology and leading-edge research. Our dermatology team also understands how factors such as sun exposure, hormonal status, genetics, and coexisting health problems can have dramatic impacts on your skin, hair, and nails over time. Education and Experience Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required. Experience preferred but not required.
