Plumbing Journeyman - Skilled and Trained

**MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE YOU GRADUATED FROM AN APPROVED APPRENTICESHIP**

Mark III Construction is seeking a Journeyman Plumbers that are Skilled and Trained and can proved they graduated from an approved apprenticeship for work on commercial/industrial projects in the Sacramento and surrounding area. Plumbers will perform tasks associated with the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.

Headquartered in Sacramento, California, Mark III operates throughout California and Nevada. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility serves as a centralized hub supporting five core trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing. To support our continued growth, we will be relocating from our current combined 62,000 square feet  of office and operational space to a new 340,000-square-foot  headquarters at 2031 Optisolar Lane , with the move planned for completion by the end of Q2 2026 .

Requirements

• Five (5) years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience or a combination of field experience and education in the trade.
• Must be able to read and understand construction documents and schedules
• Understands the entire scope of the job
• Able to manage portions of projects and be the “right hand” to the Foreman
• Capable of forecasting tasks and materials
• Must be knowledgeable of relevant codes and regulations
• Capable of doing basic take offs
• Able to prepare equipment and tool lists
• Experience working on large complex projects
• Prefer experience in working with coordinated models and installing prefabricated systems based on shop drawings.
• Certification in the operation of equipment and/or in other pertinent areas is a plus
• Ability to take initiative and be self sufficient
• Safety focused at all times
• Possess leadership and mentorship skills
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Able to collaborate with other trades and have the “Power of One” mindset

Hourly Wage: $40/Hour - $45/Hour DOE for Private Work
