Healthcare Job Details Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment Specialty: ICU / LTAC ICU Location: Columbia, South Carolina Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: September 7, 2026 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770 - $1,870 Schedule Type: Block scheduling Charting System: Epic EMR Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Unit Setting: 12-bed ICU and 35-bed Med-Surg unit Orientation: Orientation provided prior to start Registered Nurse Job Requirements 2 years of ICU experience required Recent experience in a critical care or ICU setting strongly preferred Active Registered Nurse license in good standing Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic EMR experience required LTAC experience preferred Ability to support safe floating to qualified units as needed Strong critical thinking skills and comfort caring for high-acuity patients ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to adult ICU and LTAC patients Monitor complex patient conditions and respond to changes in status quickly and effectively Manage ventilator support, weaning, tracheostomy care, and respiratory therapies as indicated Administer medications, titrate drips, and maintain IV and central line care Perform wound care, infection prevention measures, and ongoing patient assessments Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, radiology, and other support teams Document care accurately in Epic and maintain compliance with unit protocols Float to qualified units when needed based on census and staffing demands Support a safe, compassionate, and efficient care environment for every patient Apply now for this ICU travel nursing opportunity in Columbia, South Carolina and advance your career in a rewarding critical care role.
