Medical Records Specialist

The Medical Records Specialist will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and organizing medical records to support billing and operational processes. This role involves ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.

The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, able to identify missing or incomplete documentation, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Strong organizational and follow up skills are essential to ensure records are accurate and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and manage medical records for accuracy and completeness
• Identify missing or incomplete documentation and follow up as needed
• Organize and maintain records within internal systems
• Support billing and administrative processes through proper documentation
• Communicate with providers or internal teams regarding record needs
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards and requirements

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience working with medical records required
• Experience in medical billing or healthcare environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple records and requests simultaneously
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
• Proficiency with computer systems and record management tools
