OverviewIT Business Intelligence Developer IIð» Work Style: Onsiteð Location: Gainesville, FL ð FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMThe Business Intelligence Developer II independently designs and delivers complex reports and dashboards that support departmental and enterprise decision-making. This role acts as a consultative partner to stakeholders, translating ambiguous business questions into governed analytic solutions and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. The BID II contributes to reporting governance, mentor junior developers, and supports the evolution of BI practices across the organization.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities• Develops and maintains Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective BI solutions.• Designs, develops, and supports dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that deliver actionable business insights.• Troubleshoots data quality, reporting, and system performance issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.• Documents BI processes, workflows, data models, and reporting standards to support operational consistency.• Supports the implementation, enhancement, and adoption of new BI tools, technologies, and reporting capabilities.• Ensures compliance with organizational data governance, privacy, security, and reporting standards throughout BI development activities.QualificationsMinimum EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredPreferred EducationBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related fieldExperience & Skills3+ years' experience designing and developing BI solutionsExperience supporting data governance and security policiesCertification Qualification: Minimum Requirement: Epic CogitoOther Qualifications:Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide consultative analytics supportStrong skills in report and dashboard developmentAbility to monitor BI tools and recommend improvements Ability to mentor junior analysts
