Overview
The Assembler is responsible for performing mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of modules and systems in accordance with specifications, schematic drawings, and work instructions. This role ensures high-quality, accurate builds to support production schedules within a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly builds according to production schedule, required specifications, schematic drawings, and work instructions.
- Support engineers in conducting experiments, trials, and process validation activities.
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving manufacturing issues; support Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, and manufacturing discipline at all times.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and comply with cleanroom protocols.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve production and delivery targets.
- Demonstrate strong quality awareness and productivity mindset in all assigned tasks.
Requirement
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in assembly or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic and/or mechanical drawings.
- Capable of independently carrying out assembly for at least 1–2 processes within a single platform.
- Experience in Gas Box and panel assembly within the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing applications is an added advantage.
- Willing to work in a cleanroom environment with shift system.
