This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote working environment while contributing directly to the delivery of mental health services from our outpatient office in Marshall, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on mood disorders and be equipped to provide high-quality support to individuals facing significant mental health challenges.

This remote position allows you the flexibility to work in a comfortable environment while maintaining regular communication with colleagues through video and teleconferencing tools. While the primary setting is outpatient, our counselors often collaborate during team meetings to ensure integrated, high-quality care for all patients. Regular office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis to accommodate our patients' needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients experiencing mood disorders, determining the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique histories, goals, and ongoing needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support mood disorder interventions.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mood disorders, treatment pathways, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their mental health journey.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making data-informed adjustments to their treatment plans when necessary.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to develop integrated care plans that address both psychological and medical needs.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and case consultations to ensure your approaches remain reflective of best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients within the community, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and highlighting the importance of seeking help.

Our practice serves a wide-ranging population, including individuals experiencing various mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, adapting your approach to meet their specific cultural and personal contexts. Your efforts directly contribute to improved mental health outcomes for this vulnerable group.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of the theoretical and practical applications of evidence-based treatments, specifically for mood disorders.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate strong rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.

• A proven track record of successful client outcomes, particularly utilizing CBT and DBT modalities.

• Experience collaborating with medical professionals, showcasing an understanding of psychopharmacology to enhance overall treatment efficacy.
