Job Description

Our organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the sole Federally Recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center of Excellence located south of Chicago, is in search of a Vice President of Research to join our esteemed team in Peoria, Illinois.

Position Overview

The role will primarily concentrate on research activities, with one designated clinic day each week. We are looking for candidates with an MD or DO degree who are experienced in:

Conducting observational, Phase I, II, and III clinical trials
Hemophilia research, including studies such as OBS17523
Von Willebrand Disease research, including BCDI-XII, TAK-, Bloodworks VIP, and Zimmerman studies
Antithrombin research, specifically ATN-106
Data collection initiatives, including ATHN 10, CDC/Registry for bleeding disorders, and SCINR

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

Experience in clinical and translational research within Hematology and/or Pediatric Hematology
Skills in conducting, analyzing, and reporting research outcomes
Expertise in grant writing and securing funding for research initiatives

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $225,000 to $280,000, which is negotiable based on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
