About the Position

This unit takes some medical patient's, but primarily surgical patients. Some of our surgical patients consist of Joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, neck and back surgeries.  The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This will include participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community. The responsibilities will include the observation data collection, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients’ physical, psychological, emotional educational and spiritual needs as guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN will work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. We cannot guarantee block schedule but will try to accommodate when possible. Replace Traveler
