You will partner with product managers, engineers, and customers to design solutions that simplify complex equipment finance workflows. This role requires someone who can balance business objectives with user needs while designing for a specialized financial services audience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end user experiences for web-based financial software, from discovery and research through final implementation and iterationCreate interactive prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts to cross-functional teamsConduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to validate design decisions and identify pain points in equipment finance workflowsCollaborate with product managers to translate business requirements and customer feedback into intuitive design solutions that meet both user and lender needsPartner with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and maintain quality throughout implementation, providing specifications and guidance as neededContribute to and maintain our design system, creating reusable components and patterns that ensure consistency across the Aurora platformPresent design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while advocating for user needs and design best practicesAnalyze product metrics and user behavior data to measure design impact and identify opportunities for improvementEmployee is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONRequired Qualifications3+ years of professional experience in product design or UX/UI developmentStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process for web applications, including user research, wireframes, and final UIProficiency building prototypes with Figma or Axure, and familiarity with other design tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar)Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design improvementsSolid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design patternsDemonstrated ability to design for complex workflows and data-heavy interfacesStrong communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively in remote environmentsExperience designing for fintech products, financial services, lending, B2B SaaS, or enterprise softwareExperience designing products that meet web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practicesPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Salesforce platform design patterns and Lightning Design SystemUnderstanding of equipment finance, credit decisioning, or loan origination processesExperience designing for both desktop and mobile responsive experiencesEducation and certifications can be earned in role.JOB REQUIREMENTSMust be authorized to work in the United States.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this Employee.
