To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position, please review this tip sheet.**CORE JOB FUNCTIONS** * Ensures accurate performance of EEG tests as requested by physicians.* Manages and reviews patient records and interviews patients to obtain additional information.* Prepares patients for procedure by attaching monitoring devices and explaining test procedures.* Sets up and calibrates necessary equipment.* Oversees patients during testing, monitoring patients’ status and recording observations.* Analyzes test data to ensure appropriate data is collected.* Reports test results to physicians for further analysis.* Supervises the maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensures work area is clean, and institutes quality control procedures.* Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs minor repairs.* Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.* undefinedThe University of Miami offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, tuition remission and more.UHealth-University of Miami Health System, South Florida's only university-based health system, provides leading-edge patient care powered by the ground breaking research and medical education at the Miller School of Medicine.
