About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, Controller to join their global finance team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the finance department, providing strategic leadership and oversight of all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements. This role is pivotal in shaping the long-term vision and strategic priorities of the global accounting function to support the company's growth objectives. The VP, Controller will also be responsible for leading a high-performing accounting organization, driving continuous process improvement, and ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting. Candidates for the VP, Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, and a CPA license with deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance. A minimum of 15-20 years of accounting experience, including leadership roles within publicly traded biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading accounting and SEC reporting functions, managing high-performing teams, and supporting strategic business initiatives. Experience in a commercial-stage, rapidly growing biotechnology or pharmaceutical organization, as well as Big Four public accounting experience, is strongly preferred. The role demands a professional with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
