Customer Experience Associate - Seasonal

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Experience Associate - Seasonal based in the United States.

This part-time, remote seasonal role is focused on delivering thoughtful, personalized customer support throughout the shopping journey.
You’ll work closely with the Customer Experience team to assist customers through email and chat with warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Your responsibilities will span product recommendations, sizing guidance, order support, returns, exchanges, and shipping-related issues.
You’ll become highly knowledgeable about products and business operations so you can provide confident, informed assistance.
The role offers an opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and turn customer feedback into meaningful improvements.

The position runs through the end of the year, with potential to continue beyond the seasonal period depending on performance and business needs.

Accountabilities:

• Deliver warm, personalized, and responsive customer service across email and chat throughout the customer shopping journey.
• Provide thoughtful product recommendations and sizing guidance to help customers make confident purchasing decisions.
• Assist with order placement, order status updates, returns, exchanges, and shipping-related issues.
• Learn and consistently follow operational procedures to ensure accurate, efficient order processing and customer support.
• Navigate multiple customer service platforms and communication channels while maintaining a consistent, high-quality experience.
• Develop strong knowledge of products, policies, and business operations to provide accurate and informed assistance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations and Product Development, to resolve customer needs and support a seamless experience.
• Communicate customer feedback and recurring issues internally to help identify opportunities for product, service, and process improvements.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail and a high standard of written communication.
• Take ownership of customer interactions and approach every task with enthusiasm, care, and a commitment to making the customer experience exceptional.
• Flex working hours during key seasonal periods and major promotional events as business needs require.

Requirements:

• Previous customer-facing experience, ideally within e-commerce, digital customer support, or retail.
• Experience providing customer service through email, chat, messaging, or similar digital channels is highly valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, polished, personal, and empathetic responses.
• Naturally warm, welcoming, and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and creatively when addressing customer needs.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable learning and moving between different customer service and e-commerce platforms.
• Previous experience with Shopify and/or Gorgias is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule effectively in a remote environment.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may change quickly.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and genuine interest in creating exceptional customer experiences.
• U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to start immediately or as soon as possible.
• Availability ideally including Sunday, Monday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST , for approximately 24 hours per week.
• Ability to increase availability to as much as 40 hours per week during the peak season , including the Black Friday/Cyber Monday period from November 17 through December 15.

Benefits:

• $18–$22 per hour , depending on experience.
