Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift Timing: M -F 8- 4:30pm
Duration: 3+ Months
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00
Job Description
- The Patient Access Service Rep (PASR), follows the Client Performance Excellence Customer Service Standards. Greets and arrives patients.
- Verifies and updates demographic information.
- Collects monies for copays, supplies, and services rendered.
- Balances daily cash collections.
- Obtains patient signatures.
- Assists patients with ancillary appointment scheduling and forms.
- Schedules, cancels, and reschedules patient appointments.
- Answers and directs telephone calls. All other duties as assigned.
Skills
- A minimum of two years of prior experience as a receptionist/assistant or related field is required.
- Effective communication skills, oral and written required. Ability to multi-task.
- Strong proactive organizational skills a must. Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
