Classification Pay Scale In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Posting Number: S01803 Department: 5701-Human Resources Expected Pay Scale Minimum: $31.49 Hourly Maximum $31.49 Hourly Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Director of Academic Human Resources and the Director of HR Operations and Fiscal Affairs, this position performs professional-level work in support of academic human resources data analysis, reporting, operations, and fiscal functions. Responsibilities include collecting, compiling, validating, and analyzing faculty-related data to support institutional reporting, compliance requirements, and operational decision-making. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations; ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR systems. Assist in HR operational functions, including workflow coordination, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional project support. Provide support for HR fiscal activities, including budget tracking, position control, workforce planning, and cost analysis. Support audits, compliance reviews, and preparation of reports and materials for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with HR leadership and campus partners to support effective administration of academic human resources programs and ensure alignment with institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and the University’s mission and values. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Banner, PeopleAdmin, or similar systems). Data visualization and storytelling techniques. Skill Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Database management and reporting Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability To Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism. Ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Education Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, Statistics, or a related field. Experience Or Training 2 or more years of experience in HR, data analysis, or a similar role (higher-education experience is preferred). Special Requirements, Licenses, And Certifications Travel may be required for various off-site meetings, trainings, conferences, and/or events in support of the overall objective of the position. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in a private higher education and HR environment. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with reporting requirements for higher education institutions (e.g., IPEDS, EEO-1). Knowledge of employment law and university HR policies.
